Meet Dr. David Weiss
Board-Certified in Internal Medicine
Dr. David Weiss is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 30 years of clinical experience. Raised in a bilingual, cross-cultural household in San Diego/Tijuana, he brings a global perspective and deep commitment to patient-first care.
Dr. Weiss earned his bachelor’s degree from UC Davis and his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, later completing his Internal Medicine residency and a Kennamer Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has built a distinguished career in primary care, preventive medicine, and executive health, including long-standing service to first responders and professionals across Southern California.
Known for his collaborative, preventative, and wellness-focused approach, Dr. Weiss empowers patients through education, personalized care, and lifestyle optimization to support longevity and quality of life. He is fluent in medical Spanish and passionate about fitness, family, and lifelong learning.
Now partnering with Dr. Cynthia Williams, Dr. Weiss is eager to provide a unique level of care with the time, attention, and expertise every patient deserves. He believes a doctor-patient relationship is a collaborative process involving guidance and the sharing of decisions.
Dr. Weiss enjoys a variety of sports including a weekly basketball game, soccer, and occasional surfing. While not looking forward to an empty nest in the next few years, he is re-considering his love/hate relationship with golf.
